GM- Quality

Report to COO,

A.      Job Description

1.       To support QA functions of the group.

2.       This involves ensuring production quality through problem solving techniques on a day to day basis. So that all delivery matches the quality requirement.

3.       To ensure that the customer’s requirements are satisfied with a minimum quality cost & continuous quality improvement.

 

B.      Job Responsibilities

1.       GM Quality identify problematic area to provide solution which include fabric inspection, cutting, Reports, Pre-Production meeting, Inline inspection, End line inspection, Finishing unit, Reconciliation and rejection reports through to pre-final and final inspection reports.

2.       Inter act with merchandisers on critical issues of fabrics, Trims and other technical problems such size specification, Fitting etc to provide solutions.

3.       Implement inspection system based on DHU (Defects per hundred units) and ensure that DHU are within the set parameters.

4.        Make quality evaluations such as level of quality on a weekly basis to prove feedback to the management and ensure to make the facility a zero claim factory. To led factory to ensure zero rejection at the final packed goods at the internal and external inspection stage.

5.       Implement guide, training and developments of the quality team of the group. Implement CAPA (corrective and preventive action) for improvement the floor quality.

 

C.      Key Result Areas.

·         DHU.

·         “0” Rejection %

·         External audit pass rate-Buyer QC final inspection.

·         To avoid claims & complains from the end of customer.
